Ten years down the line after its inaugural edition, EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA has become an international benchmark and a legitimate business facilitator for aftersales and service professionals in North and sub-Saharan Africa.
The show will play host to 350 exhibiting companies, a figure up by 11% on the 2015 show, and which includes 80% of exhibitors from outside Algeria, representing 20 countries.
As demonstrated by the formation of seven official national pavilions (China, France, Morocco, Poland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey) and the individual participations of exhibitors from twelve other countries – Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Egypt, India, Italy, Macao, South Korea, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the USA - , EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA has become an essential event on the international calendar and in particular in Algeria, the continent’s second largest automobile market after South Africa.
This acknowledgement is further backed up by the presence of global market leaders such as BILSTEIN GMBH, HONEYWELL TURBO, MAHLE, MANN+HUMMEL, NAFTRAL, PETROSER, PHILIPS, PIRELLI, RENAULT/MOTRIO, RENAULT TRUCKS, ROBERT BOSCH, TOTAL LUBRIFIANTS, WULF GAERTNER AUTOPARTS AG (MEYLE) and of the major Algerian importers and manufacturers of replacement parts and equipment for garages.
EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA thus brings together the widest, most comprehensive range of machinery, equipment, products and services for vehicle maintenance and repair professionals (repair and bodywork garages, importers, wholesalers, retailers etc., fleet managers and automobile service providers).
Over the show’s 4-day duration, the automobile aftermarket industry will showcase all of its innovations and products and display the wealth of its know-how to the 10,000 trade visitors expected (an increase of 3% compared with the 2015 show).
Two special highlights will be on the agenda of the 10th edition of EQUIP AUTO ALGERIA on 29 February, the show’s opening day. The plenary keynote address “The automobile industry facing its future” will focus on the development of a local industrial fabric and an all-encompassing industry in Algeria. In addition, the round table “Automotive aftersales in Algeria in 2016: outlook and prospects” will bring together experts and professionals to offer insight into the challenges of the Algerian vehicle aftersales sector.
